Another thing that I think is cool to put on a website is a hit counter. A hit counter is just something that keeps track of how many views a website gets. It's pretty useless on my website since the only person that can see it is me, but if I had a real website on the Internet I think that I'd want to know if a lot of people were looking at it. So if you want to know how many times you refresh the page while working on your website, check out this link: http://www.simplehitcounter.com/
Here you can choose the color of the counter and stuff like that.
This is the one I used:
<center><!-- Start of SimpleHitCounter Code -->
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.simplehitcounter.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://simplehitcounter.com/hit.php?uid=1186624&f=16777215&b=16711680" border="0" height="18" width="83" alt="web counter"></a><br><a target="_blank" style="text-decoration:none;"></a></div>
<!-- End of SimpleHitCounter Code --></center>
(I added the center tags so the counter would be in the middle of my webpage.)
